Portuguese in Newark with a vegan?

NJBluesGirl | Feb 18, 201609:59 AM     4

Hello all! Heading into Newark early April and was wondering if anyone knows of a great Portuguese restaurant that would have something on the menu that a vegan could eat-besides a house salad. No meat, fish, dairy. The only one I found was Chateau of Spain. It seemed to get good reviews, but I was a little concerned with a menu that would have Portuguese and a veggie quesadilla. Has anyone dined there or do you have another hidden gem in Newark that would accommodate 5 carnivores and a vegan? Thanks!
