Best Portuguese In The City

Ok - so ive been reading online and in guidebooks. As far as I can see, Alfama, Luzia's, and Pao! are the choices for good Portuguese food in the city. Ill be coming in the beginning of February from Florida with my girlfriend, and we are both BIG fans of Portuguese food. Having grown up in a Portuguese family near Newark, I have had my fair share of AWESOME Portuguese food in the Ironbound section there. Can any NYC restaurants impress me? Any and all info will be appreciated. We are not necessarily looking for an uppity fancy setting, just really good porutugese food and ESPECIALLY breads. Thanks!
