Portobello mushrooms with pasta?

I just bought six portobellos and have had to put my bbq away because of weather - how can I best cook them on the stovetop? I don't have access to a lot of ingredients but have the staples - olive oil, balsamic, chick broth. I wonder if I could make a pasta sauce with the mushrooms, chick broth, wine, what else? And I'm not sure how long to cook them on the stovetop.Any suggestions much appreciated.
