Portland Restaurant Could Have ‘America's Best Restroom’

Just when you thought the creepy clown bar was the ultimate in keeping Portland weird... See:

Vote early and vote often!

I've eaten at Off the Waffle several times...never had the occasion to use the restroom though...I'll have to now! It's a small fast/casual breakfast/brunch spot at the corner of SE 26th & Clinton...across the intersection from the original Broder Cafe. The waffles are mildly sweet and crispy. My favorite is the one topped with 2 eggs, tomato, basil & goat cheese. Their coffee is fresh and strong.

It's counter-ordering and self-bussing of tables but OTW has a laid-back neighborhood vibe that lends itself to a relaxing meal. My brunch has always been light and flavorful and service has always been quick and cheerful. It's not expensive. I'd recommend OTW to anyone!

I think they sell frozen waffles and batter too.
