We come to Portland every year for my wife's birthday (and NYE). Looking for a new dinner spot this year. We like places that don't take/require reservations, because we don't want to be tied to eating at a specific time. For the last couple of years we've gone to Pai Men Miyake. Looking for something new this year. The early contenders are Central Provisions, Bao Bao and The Honey Pot. My wife does not want to go to Vinland. Is there something we're missing on our list? Preferably a place that is newer. We've eaten at Hugo's, Eventide, 555, Miyake, Hunt & Alpine (snacks only), Fore Street and Street & Co.
