Porridge King in Daly City:

House special chowmein had tasty sauce, good noodle, veggies and seafood. Very compentent dish

Sampan porridge was also interesting.

Wonton was larger than usual and had good amount of shrimp filling. Quite good

Melon pearl drink was so-so

Any other dishes here interesting ?

Pho Ao Sen in Newark:
Nice rice plate. The grilled pork was tender and had lots of spices (not hot). It also came with egg custard, the usual sweet vinegar sauce and lots of veggies and a small bowl of soup.

Beef pho was just allright but still tasty.

The vermicelli? white roll had interesting filling of
two small diameter fried eggroll and delicate julienne of cucumber and carrots and also the usual lettuce leaf?. The eggroll was a bit chewy. This may not be to everyone's favorite but it was interesting and tasty treat for me. The sauce was also interesting - a thick yellow coloured mix of mild flavoured spices. Not hot at all but very tasty.

Any other dishes here interesting ?
