SOO, bought a 3 lb log-o-Taylor Pork Roll (Taylor "ham", to some) at a relatively quirky meat store cuz the price was just TOO good to pass on. Have a decent amount of time to contemplate how to consume it, other than the CLASSIC... fried/griddled in a little butter, with lots of cheese, on a nice Kaiser roll. Add a fried egg and you have the PERFECT breakfast sandwich. I like chili sauce (NOT cocktail sauce) or ketchup & sweet pickle relish on mine.
Though not even opened yet, thinking of the future. I have an inexpensive home slicer and plan to wrap up a few packages with just enough for one hearty sandwich to stash in freezer.
Other than a sandwich or breakfast side, what would you or have you done with TPR??
