Pork Belly & Ramen, not too clear?

Fred | Feb 28, 2006 11:35 AM

I know at momofuko, the menu says berkshire pork (for the buns and the ramen), but makes no mention of pork belly. However, when I asked, they told me that the pork is in fact pork belly. I know people rave about the pork there, but I cannot do the pork belly thing. This gets me to my question...

I want to try rai rai ken and/or minca as I am not too fond of the ramen at momofuko. On their menus, the ramen states that it has pork in it. Is the pork pork belly, or just typical slice/shredded pork? Any clarifications appreciated.
