poor chowhounds trip report

We just got home and I dont need to eat for a year. There are just too many choices for a four day trip. We ate at Marisol the first night. They have tapas from 5p-7p for $4 per plate. We got 10 different plates and that filled up four of us. Everything was different and delicious. Plus, the courtyard is really great. Lots of plants and a fountain. We split a molten chocolate cake for dessert and that was yummy as well. Service was terrific. The next night we ate at Fiorellas. The fried chicken plates were $6 and came with 3 pieces of chicken, a side and a salad. The creamy lime salad dressing was totally different and good. The chicken and sides were good too. Unfortunately, we had the crabbiest waiter. When I asked what type of dressing they had he said "theyre listed" very impatiently. When my friend asked him what exactly was the baked macaroni he said " well its macaroni and its baked." again very impatiently. The last night we ate at Louisiana pizza kitchen. Not NO at all but good. That was our most expensive meal!!! We ate lunch at Jimmy Buffetts one day for lunch because I had a 50% off coupon. Big mistake. Bad service, stale bread.
