I picked up some lovely CA pomegranates at a local farmstand here in New England and have removed the seeds. I've read that you can freeze them in a ziplock bag for up to 6 months, but want the answer from the experts here on Chowhound. Yes? No?
Also, other than pomegranate sauce and sprinkling on salads and using with roasted lamb (I sprinkled some on seared duck breast tonight with a drizzle of pomegranate juice/balsamic/red wine glaze), any other inventive ways to use the seeds? I have about 3 cups worth.
