Hubby and I went to check out this Peruvian joint on Elden St. in Herndon,VA on Saturday night--Pollo Inka. The place was packed at 8:30pm, and we were 2 of maybe 8 English-speaking persons in the 50 seat place. Hubby didn't have a clue about Peruvian food (and I'm not much more well-versed), so we decided to go basic for this first time out. We split a delicious cheese-filled pancake, and each had a 1/2 chicken (love that rotisserie with Peruvian spices), and it came with your choice of rice, french fries or, for 50 cents more, fried yucca. Hubby chose rice, I had the yucca. We each had Inca Kola, since that seemed to be what everyone was drinking. (Tastes like bubblegum!) Everything was delish, and we spent a total of $20.45.
Anyone else been here? I'd love to know what we should order next!!!
