Planning a HS graduation party in June and would like to poach a large salmon (10lb?) without the expense of buying a large fish poacher. Years ago, a friend did this in the dishwasher, I kid you not. I can't remember exactly how this went, I do remember NO SOAP. Anyone ever done this? Any other suggestions for poaching large fish? I don't know anyone from whom I can borrow a poacher and I would prefer to cook it myself (not the grocery store) so I can control seasonings & taste. Thanks in advance!
