Po for Birthday Dinner

Craig Greiner | May 21, 2002 04:50 PM

I consider myself a foodie of the "big, bold flavors" variety. Case in point- Lupa may be my favorite all-around restaurant in the city.

My tastes, and the fact that my girlfriend and I once shared a fabulous evening at the aforementioned Lupa, have inspired me to choose Po as the destination for her birthday meal. An aside, I figured I'd ignore my food ideologies this past Valentine's Day and take her to a scene/ambience/decor place that might come through with decent food. I took her to AZ, it didn't, don't ever go there.

So at this point I don't really care to hear the I made a horrible choice on Po for b-day (the day is tomorrow and it would be a tad cheesy to take her to Mary's or Blue Ribbon and wait for 2 hours). But I would like thoughts on the tasting menu (to do or not to do), wine list, and any other general comments people might have.

Thanks much.
