Okay, I'm starting this thread with my own little fib. My mom has always made Swedish braided bread for the holiday and it was always a hit. But, as she's aged, the bread has been steadily going downhill. I love her dearly, but she's making it at Halloween time now. Well, it's pretty dry by Christmas. I take the bag home and break it up for the birds. (We live in the country, birds are pretty hardy I guess.)
I'll never confess my little fib (well, my sisters are in the same camp, so we all stay mum.)
