does anyone know what plato burato is?

withalonge | Mar 7, 2006 01:15 PM

one of my co-workers is being cheeky won't tell me. she's planning on bringing this to a potluck at work. I'm just curious.

I'm assuming the following:
plato = plate
burato = I've found this to mean either crepe or veil of silk... so I'm assuming this is some kind of crepe??? or maybe a type of enchiladas? of some kind of stuffed dough or noodle?

or maybe I'm way off. anyway, please chime in if you have an answer. it is driving me nuts. and I wouldn't mind a recipe if anyone has a good one.
:)
TIA
