1) TomYum - 1/2 order from the specials board. After a taste I started to plan what I would have on the next visit. Lots of flavors come on at once as does some heat. A lose the blues bowel for a cold NYC day. Unless I was mistaken the wonton listed is an unfilled crisped skin.
2) Sour Sausage F R - from the specials board. I missed the F R (fried rice) designation thinking I was ordering just a sausage plate. The sausage was fantastic, on par with the northern sausage across the street at Chao Thai and the Sai-Oua at Kao Soy in Red Hook. The fried rice is fine but a sausage alone would have been more to my liking.
3) Kao Soy - Another stellar bowel, deep rich texture needing that lime and perverved mustard greens. The Kao Soy here and in Red Hook shows why this dish has a following.
