Planning -- Chinatown/Little Tokyo and Koreatown

Disneyfreak | Feb 13, 201510:42 AM

Please help me plan.

I have two free days (I hope) when I am in Los Angeles (no car). The first day is the day I am arriving. My flight gets in mid morning and then I have to get to my hotel and check in.

I thought I would hit Chinatown/Little Tokyo that day. I will be nibbling my way around. On past visits I've gone to CBS Seafood for dim sum and Philippe's for a sandwich. What places do you recommend in Chinatown and Little Tokyo? I'm looking for cheap eats and snacks. Also cool stores.

The next day I have dinner reservation at Saint Martha and I thought I would spend the day in Koreatown. I'm looking for the same types of recommendations there. Is there enough to do/see to keep me busy for a whole day? If not is there an adjacent neighborhood with cool stuff to see/eat/do?

Little Tokyo Market Place,
CBS Seafood,
The Original Philippe
