Last time they loved Vivolo, as it's in my neighborhood which they wanted to see, and they liked the quietness, the lovely townhouse atmosphere, and the food was very good -- nothing dramatic, but they're 70 y-o and have rather simple tastes food-wise. (Perhaps that's why I'm so culinarily curious!)

They also loved the Boathouse in CP for brunch. It's been hit-or-miss with me foodwise, but was good that Sunday and they liked it, and loved the setting.

They also loved Mon Petit Cafe for lunch -- food, atmosphere, location and prices.

They liked the food at Maria Pia for pre-theater one night, but was a little loud and, therefore, less relaxed.

All unpretentious, non-sceney, quiet, very reasonably priced, and not daringly adventurous places. Also, will probably be in Midtown/ Uptown (museums/ shows) most of the time.

Booked a brunch at Artisanal. And an early dinner at Babbo, hoping it won't be loud at 6pm, their preferred dining time. And will probably go back to Vivolo, as that fits their taste exactly.

Still need 1-2 more dinners and lunches. Thank you!!
