Any new must-try places in Edinburgh, Inverness or Skye areas?

lecker | Jan 26, 201601:07 AM     27

I couldn't find many recent posts from Edinburgh, but reading older posts I have marked these restaurants to try when I head to Scotland in March.
Wishart
Kitchin
Mimi's
Urban Angel
Gardener's Cottage
21212
Timberyard
Steak

Has anyone been to any of these recently? And if so, which are still great and worth a visit?

Not looking for posh or anything stuffy, I just want high quality, fresh ingredients, superb cooking skills and excellent execution. Okay, amazing service wouldn't hurt either.

Also, planning to drive up to Inverness and Skype for a week. So if there are any must-try foodie destinations you would recommend along or near that direction, please let me know; I love detouring for great food.

Thanks!
