Have eaten at two new food places in Bangor in the past week. The first, Massimo's Breads, is run by Massimo of the Italian place of the same name, and he's making fantastic crusty bread, pizza romana, panini and a small selection of sweet treats out of a beautiful little street level space on Hammond St. Brand new big stone oven. Smells wonderful. So happy to have good European bread in Bangor!
The other is Coco Loco, down the street on Central St. Mexican food, cooked by a woman who is actually from Mexico. Oaxaca, to be exact. No shredded cheese or sour cream. Homemade mole and tortillas. Jamaica and tamarind tea. It's quite good.
We just need a Korean place, and I'll be perfectly happy.
