Please tell me if i am right

My boyfriend and I visited SF last summer and stayed at the youth hostel that used to be a hotel. It was across the street from a big garage (big by my key west standards) and a little up the hill was a great diner. One of the best meals of our trip was at a teeny tiny sushi bar around the corner. We had been looking all night for a different sushi place , literally walking circles around the block and not seeing it,so we eventually decided to try the tiny place because we were really hungry. I had several kinds of sushi/sashimi and nick had an oodon soup that had very thick noodles and lots of seafood. the service was amazing. IT WAS SO GOOD! So what was this place called, i don't remember. I think it wason the ground floor of an apartment building,or maybe a hotel? There couldn't have been any more than 5 small tables and 3 or 4 seats at the sushi bar.
The hilarious hting is we walked by the other sushi place the next day and we had indeed walked by it several times in the dark. The food gods did good by us!
