After avoiding every restaurant that has inhabited the area directly across from the Sterling building, I finally decided to give the newest one a shot. It's a casual place, not as pretentious as its predecessors, and it's related to Books & Books (thus the name, Cafe at Books & Books). The food was good, service was good and best yet the prices were reasonable. It's the same concept as say the Van Dyke but I think the food and service is much better. I had the ceviche with corn and boniato salads and it was great for a warm day. My girlfriend had the tuna sandwich and it was better than most I've had. You can tell that the food and menu are prepared with care. Along with Le Bon, it's now one of my favorite places on the Road.
