We are planning an eight day trip to Paris/Burgundy. Not sure which order! We've never been to Burgundy before. I'm assuming we'll take the train to Dijon. We are looking for a small family-run inn or French equivalent of an agritourismo to stay, and where we would likely take our dinners and/or breakfasts. We'll rent a car for day tripping to visit the countryside and the wineries, but in the past, when we've traveled to Alsace and to Tuscany, we found small, family-run farms/inns where we had our breakfasts/dinners. We have found the food to be uniformly good (in Tuscany it was actually extraordinary) and it was nice to have a meal with a bottle of wine and not have to worry about driving back to the hotel or apartment. Having never stayed in Burgundy before, we are looking for suggestions. We speak enough French to feel like we can get around fairly well, so language is not a real barrier. Merci.
