Need place for one great dinner in Portland

cheri | Jul 31, 200503:27 PM     2

We'll be in Portland for a family function in a couple of weeks and have Saturday night available without family. We're staying at the Riverwalk, but we will have a car if needed. We'd like a recommendation for a really great meal that night. We're from Chicago, so we'd really like something we can't find here. Some place that focuses on northwestern ingredients? Fresh seafood? Quality of food and preparation is defintely our focus, but someplace not earsplittingly noisy would be great. Hate having a great meal ruined because you have to yell across the table to talk about it. My brother (a local, although not a foodie) recommended the following list, not sure if there is anyplace worthy on it.
Paleys Place
Wildwood
Heathman
Higgins
Thanks for any input, I've always had great advice on this board.
