New place - very good seasoned fries - Elmwood Park

Another Oak Parker | Jun 16, 200303:17 PM

My son had me take him to a new place called Wing Stop in a strip mall on Harlem just north of North Ave. (Kinko's is the "anchor")

We've been back twice, tried 4 different sauces, and the conclusion is that the wings are OK, but the fries are very, very good.

Skin on, look to be hand-cut, with a "secret blend" of eight seasonings (including sugar - sounds weird but if you like sweet potato fries you get the idea).

If you're in the area and you are a fry purist, go to Parky's or Bistro Marbuzet (for steak frites). If you're not a purist, give this Wing Stop place a try.
