So just finished a batch of tasty but UGLY pizzelles. Have a waffle iron with reversible plates for pizzelles. For the LIFE of me, couldn't REMOTELY center batter to get anything CLOSE to nice and round.
I'm not bummed out about this, but wondering just HOW to bakeries make them look so nice?? Thinking some piece of equipment SIGNIFICANTLY higher priced than my waffle/pizzelle iron!! Something that comes straight DOWN on dough instead of back to front??
