is makin' me hungry!

Okay all you pizzameisters out there, what's your favorite homemade pie. I'll start:

Homemade sauce:
---------------

- 6 to 8 ripe Roma Tomatoes chopped
- 2 T extra virgin olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic chopped
- 1 T dried oregano
- 1 t dried thyme
- 1 t dried basil
- 1 T fennel seed
- 1 bay leaf
- salt and freshly cracked pepper to taste

Combine everything into a sauce pan and cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the tomatoes release their water and the desired thickness is reached, usually around 25 minutes.


Pizza Toppings
--------------

- Fresh Sauce from above
- prosciutto
- goat cheese
- sun dried tomatoes

after the pie comes out of the oven add freshly grated parmigiano reggiano and fresh basil.
