PiZZa in NY upstate area - let's not start a war

Steve C | Nov 5, 2002 01:45 PM

I live "upstate" in Dutchess county, and I have never had a pizza I would want twice.
Anyone know of something really good that's less than an hour drive? Never had anything decent in Westchester or Putnam county either...
I have been to Pepe's and Sally's (yes, they're very good), and I have been to Grimaldi's (also very good maybe one of best in NY?). Is there anything at all like that up here?
I would also settle for a Greek style pizza, which is what I grew up on.
Any leads? I just didn't want to start another pizza war, which always seems to happen when it comes to pizza. I understand, I'm passionate about my pie as well!
