This is the best NYC style pizza i've ever had in my life. It has been for over a decade of my life.
In my book, a perfect 10 for Crust, Cheese, Sauce, and proportion.
The slices are very very thin, yet when they warm it up, they manage to get the very very outer part of the crust slightly crispy while on the whoel the crust is very soft. I usually hate crust ends, but their crust is so well cooked, it's like eating fresh bakery goods--the end crust that is. I never throw away their crust.
The cheese is perfect. Excellent quality and tasty. it's buttery and it never seems to get hard and chewy--it simply melts into your mouth even till the last bite (unless you're eating it outside and it's freezing cold.)
The sauce is the only thing that seems to have detractors. Their sauce is very sweet and some people don't like that, but I definitely do.
There's no sitting aside from 4 barstolls that are always taken. Prepare to stand.
It's on Roosevelt Avenue up the hill from main street (last stop on 7 train). Walk up the hill and it's on your left side after footlocker and OTB.
