Z Pizza - 2 thumbs up

Meg | Jan 31, 2006 08:32 AM

Tried Z Pizza in Falls Church for the first time last night. What a treat. I'd say it's the best pizza in the Tysons area, with Anthony's coming in second. Very fresh tasting, thin crust, doughy bottom but crisp edges, LOTS o'gooey cheese, high quality toppings and LOTS of them (had sausage with shrooms). The side salad was also delicious and fresh. And when they say large pie, they mean it. Bigger than a standard large, and presumably why I paid $20.00 for one pie with two toppings, which appalled me! Though I wasn't nearly as miffed after dinner, with my fulll and satisfied belly ; )

If anyone has delivery pizza reccommendations in the area, I'd love to hear them. Z Pizza is close enough for pick-up, but when we're feeling lazy Pizza Boli's and Domino's are the only options.
