While wandering up Mission after a lunch at Tselog's, I passed by this spot at 5672 Mission. It looks new (no Yelp page yet). No one was manning the counter when I poked my head in but I grabbed a takeout menu.
From what I could find online, this appears to be one of the first American locations of a medium-sized chain in the Philippines that specializes in grilled fish. Only 7 menu items, about half of them featuring boneless bangus: inihaw, butterfly grilled, and grilled relleno style, plus a grilled tiliapia. The other 3 items are individual rice plates ($3.50 - $5): grillled 1/4 boneless bangus, grilled chicken, and grilled liempo (pork belly).
here's one blog post I turned up: http://yummyadventures.com/2008/08/co...
Anyone know anything about this place's reputation in the Philippines?
