Pittsburgh Eats---need recommendation

I am visiting Steel city this Sunday and Monday from Chicago and trying to setup my culinary tour.

So far, I found some: DeLuca's for breakfast, Benkovitz Fish (or Wholey's fish) for fresh seafood, and Original Hot Dog (The "O").

Please let me know if you recommend other place(s) over these above.

Also, I am looking for a solid italian (hopefully, a southern italian) that specilizes in great pastas (like Frutti Di Mare). Not upscale like Lidia's. A good family friendly restaurant.

In addition, other than Indian or Mexican, if there are some restaurants not to be missed in Steel city, please let me know.

I appreciate your help in advance.
