Hello chow hounds, first time poster from London, UK. I've been buying some choice vintage copper pans on eBay over the last few months and scooped up three nice pieces of stainless lined Dehillerin from one seller, a 26cm frying pan, 20cm saucepan and a 24cm stewpot, all with lids for under £200. There is however some pitting, certainly worse than any other stainless cookware I own and while I knew the condition before I bought I wanted to consult the hive mind and ask if firstly this will seriously inhibit performance and secondly how to minimise further damage to the surface? The last photo makes it look a bit worse than it is.
Thanks in advance,
