I'm planning a Sunday afternoon get-together in April in honor of Saint George's Day, which I was introduced to in Spain last year. It's Saint George's saint day, but is also the day on which both Cervantes and Shakespeare died. In Spain, its celebrated by exchanging books and roses. At my house, we're going to celebrate it with a book exchange, cava, and of course good food.
I'm thinking of preparing some tapas myself, and perhaps having a DIY pintxos table, where guests can create their own pintxos on rounds of baguettes. (I might also assemble them beforehand.)
Can anyone suggest a favorite tapas/pintxos cookbook? English-language is great, but I can probably get through a Spanish/Catalan version too.
