Pink Taco (Century City)

A few friends and I decided to try the new Pink Taco in L.A. We ordered the guacamole for our appetizer and my friend commented that it tastes just like the pre-packaged one from Costco which I had to agree with. It was nothing special at all for $8.95! The sweet corn tamale was under par. Not sweet enough and was served with sour cream and pico de gallo which I thought was a little odd since I've only had it by itself. The pink tacos were pretty good but didn't care so much for the "pink" pickled onions. The carne asada tacos were very good. The chicken tosada was ok. I ordered the lobster enchilladas which was excellent! Their rice was a bit bland and refried beans were ordinary. Their brownie dessert was pretty good. It's similar to the pizookie from BJ's bar and grill but in brownie form served with ice cream. I had a blended margarita which was watered down. My friend had the raspberry mojito which was really good! The ambiance is similar to Hard Rock Cafe with crosses and low rider bicycles as the decor. Good place to try out but don't expect quality food.
