Took the opportunity on Saturday to try Pink Pig BBQ in Levy,SC. Have read many positive comments on this board but, frankly, I was unimpressed. I ate the chopped pork plate which came with sauce already on the meat(a turn off for me since I usually use little or no sauce because it can mask the real flavor of the meat). Maybe my expectations were too high after reading all the comments here, in Southern Living, etc. Any comments from other "hounds"? What did I miss?
