Sunday morn art destination was PEC's Chinese House, lunch/brunch destination was In A Pig's Eye just down Derby St, recommended on this board. Bravo! We both had the Frittata w/large, perfectly cooked crunchy shrimp, artichoke hearts, fresh parseley & a lot of melted cheese, roasted potatoes, & a slice of cantelope on the plate($7.95). Many of their dishes were served with Hollandaise sauce, so I ordered a side for $1, must have been a 1/2 cup-sheer heaven. Initally, brought out apple crumb cake to start. They serve shaker glass sized mimosas gratis w/any brunch order(but you had to ask for them-otherwise $4/piece). There was a line waiting when we got their of all sorts of folks, e.g. young couples w/kids, grandparents, families looking like a favorite local place. One average sized rustic room w/small bar & tables for 2 on up. Several had reservations. Altho we did not, we were seated almost immediately by friendly waitstaff, who were prompt, efficient & cheerful, but didn't rush us, eventho there were folks waiting to be seated. W/coffee, total bill w/tip came to $22. I'll be going back.
