I ate at Pigalle last night and had a WONDERFUL meal.... I had the striped bass which was wrapped in zucchini and eggplant and tomato. It came with edamame mashed potatos which were served in a cylinder that was made out of something that had been deep fried. I'm convinced it was thin slices of potato somehow formed into a cylinder and fried, my date thinks it was pastry or paper or something...He didn't think potatos would hold together that well.. Does anyone have any ideas? We'd love to know what it was and how it was prepared... We should have asked at the time but didn't and now we're trying to figure it out! (Hoping I'm right of course!)
