Pierre Herme Mendiants

I bought a couple of boxes recently, and the mendiants are not nearly as good as they were when I first had them several years ago. They used to be jewel-like in their perfection, every morsel on that little dollop of chocolate was perfectly calibrated so that the whole was far greater than the sum of its parts. Sadly, these mendiants seem to be made with very little care. The only exquisite thing about them is the chocolate, which has to be some of the finest, silkiest, best-balanced chocolate on earth. Can anyone tell me which brand of chocolate Herme uses?
