Pier 47...pre Scoma's

Uncle Jack | Mar 5, 200509:00 AM

Does anyone here remember the little lunch counter out on Pier 47 before Scoma's was built.(1965) It was called The Lookout or The Lighthouse or something like that.

We use to walk down from California School of Fine Arts at lunch time and get a fresh crab sandwich on sourdough bread and a beer for about a buck. (1958/59)

Yes, they did have mayonaise back in those days and the beer did come in bottles.
