Piemonte with a child

Bridge66 | Aug 24, 201109:19 AM     5

My wife and I will be be traveling to Piemonte (staying in Alba) in October, We have been several times but this is our first trip with a baby (10 months old). We are not sure how to plan for dinner. Are most restaurants accomodating to children at night? Do some of the nicer restuarants (e.g La Libera, Locanda nel Borgo Antico, L'Osteria del Boccondivino) frown on bringing children? We still want to experience the great food of Piemonte at night but are afraid that we will be relegated to the not-so-special family-friendly restaurants. We are looking for dinner or lunch recommendations anywhere in the region. Also our daughter goes to bed around 7-8 pm, I don't recall what time most restaurants open for dinner. Are restaurants more accepting of children at earlier hours? Thanks.
