Ok, not really an emergency...
I'm just about to mix the filling for a blueberry pie and I'm out of granulated sugar.
I have powdered sugar and brown sugar. Would either make a good substitute for white sugar? Would it measure the same? Or should I schlep over to the store for a bag of white sugar?
I use my mother's recipie for a 9" pie:
4 cups fresh blueberries
1/3 c flour
1/2 cup sugar
1 TB lemon juice
1/2 tsp cinnamon
