I have been asked to make three pies for a wedding on Memorial Day weekend. The pies are cherry, blueberry, and strawberry.
The wedding is several hours out of town and we will be traveling the day before. I will have no access to an oven once we get there, so everything will have to be prepared in advance. Do you think the pies will be ok baked, at room temperature, from Thursday night until Saturday? Or should I bake and freeze and then let them come to room temperature the day of the wedding? I have never frozen a baked pie, and with no oven I won't have a way to "freshen" them up.
