PICKY PICKY eaters in Paris

Hi!

My mom and I are staying at the Marriott Champs-Elysees for two nights this June. Unfortunately, we are both incredibly picky eaters. We actually got thrown out of a restaurant the last time we went to Paris because she tried to make too many substitutions in a meal! Seriously, though, I've probably been there five times and have yet to find a restaurant that I liked, with the exception of a Tex-Mex restaurant in the Opera district. I think the problem is that we don't really eat seafood or french food. We eat a lot of Italian food in the US - American food would be fine too (I realize like I sound like such a stereotypical American..).

So, any recs (preferably Italian) near the Champs-Elysees? I don't need anything particularly nice or expensive, but that is fine too.
