Pickles & Olives - great store, hostile employees

Kerry | Oct 26, 2003 07:42 AM

Last night I went to Pickles and Olives (the 5-month-old store on 1st Ave. in the 80s). I was pleasantly overwhelmed by the selection of stuffed olives (chestnuts, blue cheese, anchovies) but the two guys working there were downright hostile! Anyway, if you like a great selection of Middle Eastern salads, half-sour and sour pickles, and green and black olives, and you aren't bothered by men glaring at you, then check this place out.
