A table outside Riva Cucina on a sunny day was a lovely setting for lunch with girlfriends last month. This was my first time here, and I was surprised at how ambitious the menu is at lunch time. An array of pastas, intricate composed sandwiches, panini, and a seafood plate and meated entree of the day.
I chose the seafood plate, $14.50, grilled local rock cod with lemon condiment, romano beans, and roasted potatoes, as shown here.
Very fresh fish, perfectly cooked and dressed simply, it doesn't get better than this. Good potatoes, and I liked dragging them through the lemony juices. Romano beans were a bit on the mature side and some were too tough. Big serving too. But all in all, I was very satisfied.
