Okay, sorry, I couldn't resist the title. Apologies.
I make this delicious fig, walnut, and brie tart every year on Christmas Eve. It calls for fresh figs but I can't ever find them, so I just substitute dried figs. And it is a great dish anyway, but this year, I have a MISSION to find them. (Get it? Mission? Mission Figs... BOO. Sorry.)
Any advice, Chowhounds?
