Phoenix/Scottsdale Itinerary Help

BobMack | Dec 26, 201409:21 PM     1

I'm taking a trip with my wife and two kids (6 and younger). We'll be at the Desert Ridge Marriott but exploring the area a bit. I'm looking for input on what we have planned.

Arrival - Eat at Pizzeria Bianco (Town & Country). It's near Trader Joe's which is also convenient.

Day 2 - Hiking in the McDowell Sonoran Desert Preserve. Lunch at either Fate Brewing (I'm a beer judge) or Andreoli Italian Grocery. Visit Sweet Republic for some ice cream.

Day 3 (New Years Eve) - Musical Instrument Museum. Eat at the cafe (heard its good). No idea what to do for dinner. Maybe something early at the hotel (Roy's?) or something close by.

Day 4 - Desert Botanical Garden. Lunch at Pig & Pickle, snack at Superchunk. Any other restaurants that would be better in this area?

As you can see we only have one dinner planned since we are trying to keep from leaving the resort too much. It's our first time having a non active vacation so it's tough!

Any great coffee shops for some local roasted beans would be great too!

Fate Brewing Company - South
Fate Brewing Company - North
Café Allegro
Roy's Restaurant
Pita Jungle - Desert Ridge
Pizzeria Bianco
