Pho Saigon Report (Kent)

Amecameca | Dec 1, 200510:01 PM     1

Some of the best Vietnamese food in South King County can be found at the Pho Saigon Restaurant in Kent (25632 Pacific Highway). This is the new incarnation of the Midway Saigon Restaurant that was about a mile north on Pacific Highway from the current location. The owner, Paul, has to be one of the friendliest hosts you will find. He and his family spent five months decorating the storefront location into a handsome and welcoming space. The Pho is outstanding, as are the pork salad rolls (with grilled pork, not the usual tasteless steamed pork -- yum). Paul says his bahn mi are the best. We saw one on someone else's plate and it looked great. I first learned of the Midway Saigon on this list. Paul wanted me to tell all the South King County chowhounds about his new location.
