Can't speak to the places in Little Saigon, but I've tried a myriad of pho joints in K-Town, Chinatown, and in SGV. So far, nothing compares to Pho Hien in El Monte. Noodles are never overcooked (tendon underdone once) and more importantly, broth is always spot on. Not bland, not overly clovey, just clean & beefy. Only caveat: they close at 6:30 pm sharp. Many nights have I consoled myself w/Taco Nazo at 6:31 p.m.
